Book Editing & Publishing for Business Authors

Your book is your business card. Most die unfinished. Yours doesn’t have to.

PROBLEM

A published book justifies higher fees, opens speaking stages, and outlives every LinkedIn post you’ll ever write. You know this — it’s why the manuscript exists. It’s sitting at 80%, or it’s “done” and you’ve discovered that writing the book was the easy half.

Editing, covers, formatting, ISBNs, Amazon metadata, print and e-book distribution — self-publishing is a second job arriving precisely when you don’t have time for the first one. I’ve done every step of it, for clients and for my own books, since 2013.

WHAT I DELIVER

  • Developmental & line editing — structure first, then sentences. From $2,500.
  • Ghostwriting — your ideas, your voice, my keyboard. Interviews to manuscript. Quoted per project.
  • End-to-end publishing management — I run the subcontractors (cover, formatting, proofreading, indexing), the ISBN, the Amazon author page, the metadata. You approve; I deliver a published book. Projects of any size. Packages from $2,500.

WHY ME

I’m not a consultant who read about book publishing then started a business. I’ve ghostwritten a rags-to-riches founder memoir, edited three fiction anthologies, published my own books in three genres, and sold them everywhere from Amazon to grocery-store tables. Whatever stage your book dies at, I’ve personally shipped past it.

TESTIMONIALS

Kevin Kruse, New York Times bestselling author
I had the pleasure of working with Allen on a project that involved taking my long-form content and recrafting it so it would have maximum impact as shorter-form Internet pieces. Allen was easy to work with, and he nailed it.

Andrea Albright, Beverly Hills Publishing
Allen and his team are my ‘go-to’ ghostwriters for books that need technical, financial, and legal expertise. Allen always delivers thoroughly researched facts and figures, along with a compelling narrative to create a captivating story that engages the reader. This level of technical skill and creative talent is tough to find in a writer, which is why Allen is my secret weapon for writing to a sophisticated audience.

Joni Wolfswinkel, Real Property Management Preferred
Allen was diligent and focused in scheduling interviews to learn more about me so that he could effectively write my story. He was thorough and challenged me to think more deeply about my life while presenting the facts in straightforward prose and in my own voice. My book could not have come to fruition without his expertise.
