About Allen Taylor

Words are my best friends, ideas my health food, and success my fitness plan. I yearn to run with the greatest minds on the planet and, often, I do.

Words are my best friends, ideas my health food, and success my fitness plan. I yearn to run with the greatest minds on the planet, and, quite often, I do.

My name is Allen Taylor. I’m chief content officer at Taylored Content — a fancy title for someone who has spent most of his adult life doing two things: writing and leading.

An award-winning journalist, I’ve been recognized for news and headline writing, sports writing, column writing, and editorial work — but the three Dallas Bar Association awards for legal reporting are the ones I’m proudest of. As for leadership, I’ve seen it from the news room, the battlefield, and several points in between.

What I Do for Clients

write and edit content that puts your expertise on display — whitepapers, thought-leadership articles, e-books, lead magnets, the full toolkit. Since 2015 I’ve worked almost exclusively in fintech and blockchain, editing daily news digests for two industry publications and ghostwriting for founders who’d rather build than write.

When the project is a full book, I move into ghostwriting and editing mode — outlining, drafting, structuring, or polishing manuscripts for authors who know their subject cold but don’t have 80,000 words of spare time.

What I Write for Myself

Off the clock, I’m the author of I Am Not the King (my Christian testimony), Cryptosocial: How Cryptocurrencies Are Changing Social Media, and Web3 Social: How Creators Are Changing the World Wide Web (And You Can Too!)These Are My Roots (And, No, You Can’t Have ‘Em) (a genealogy that isn’t real and isn’t sorry about it), and Emberpuff and the Red Glow Collector, a children’s book about a dragon who needs a better hiding place. I also edited the Biblical Legends Anthology Series — three collections of short fiction and poetry set in the Garden of Eden, Sodom & Gomorrah, and the Great Flood.

Right now I’m drafting Strangers & Aliens: 60 Days for Abel, the first novel in a speculative fiction series called The Merkabah Chronicles. I also write shorter fiction, poetry, and essays on faith, publishing, and decentralized protocols at my Substack, Ancient Frontiers.

I could say a lot more, but then I’d be bragging. If I’m the smartest person in the room, I’m in the wrong room.

Wondering if I’m the right fit for your project?

Fifteen minutes will tell us both.
